Jupiter Oxygen NEWS
February 2015 :: Mumbai, India
Advanced Resources International, and Jupiter Oxygen Corporation recently signed a Letter of Intent, with an Indian company, to explore opportunities for relatively green fossil energy projects, through enhanced coal bed methane (ECBM) using CO2. ECBM requires large amounts of CO2, which can be captured from industrial sources including coal and natural gas fired utility boilers. Jupiter Oxygen’s unique high flame temperature oxy-combustion process with carbon capture, is a cost effective technology, which will be used to supply the CO2 for the ECBM process. Jupiter Oxygen, in conjunction with Advanced Resources, will identify local anthropogenic CO2 sources, as well as evaluate the ECBM potential in the Raniganj East coalfield where Essar Oil Limited is currently developing a major CBM project. Essar will then decide whether to proceed with the Raniganj East ECBM Project based on the evaluation of the ECBM potential.
