INDIA: JUPITER-ENCON ALLIANCE
Jupiter Oxygen Corporation, Schiller Park IL (Chicago area) and ENCON Thermal Engineers Pvt Ltd. , Faridabad (New Delhi area) of India signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement on May 16, 2008. ENCON has the exclusive right to use Jupiter Oxygen’s patented technology to provide and service oxygen-fueled combustion systems for industrial furnaces in the aluminum and steel markets of India, see encon.co.in.
The two companies each have successful clean technology development histories, i.e., energy conservation and emission reduction through advanced combustion systems in industrial furnaces, and will focus on sustainable business development and Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project opportunities in India.
